East Fraserlands is a vibrant, intelligently conceived mixed-use community located in the southeast corner of Vancouver. Situated on the Fraser River, this 129-acre site showcases the work of Andres Duany, a leading urban planner, merging high-quality, sustainable neighborhoods with an eclectic mix of retail, health and commercial spaces. The property has also undergone extensive remediation, with eco-initiatives like storm water filtration systems now incorporated. Civic engagement and social interaction will also be actively promoted, through the liberal use of public art, outdoor cafes, public recreation areas, plazas and promenades.
East Fraserlands is currently being developed in conjunction with Parklane Homes, with Wesgroup taking a lead role in developing the project’s retail component. Retail highlights include:
